Bruthen Art Collective is an initiative of Bruthen Arts and Events Council Inc. Funded by a Tiny Towns grant from the Victorian Government. The Bruthen Arts Collective is a vibrant community gathering space where artists, creatives, and curious minds can connect, explore new skills, and share their talents. Come and try a new skill, share your talent and connect with community.
There have been a few hiccups getting this project up and going but we are getting there. We hope to be able to make an announcement soon. The organisers are looking forward to meeting artists. There will be a weekly session for artists and beginners to meet in a relaxed atmosphere to work on their own pieces or to just have a chat with like minded people. It is also proposed to offer one session per week for beginners where they will be supported by practicing artists. No need to rush out and by materials because the Tiny Towns grant enabled the purchase of a range of art and craft materials including pottery equipment, clay, paints, brushes, art boards and spinning wheels which participants will be able to use.
