Medieval Winter Fire Festival

It is all over for 2025 so it is time to say thankyou to everyone who came and made the evening such a success. Thankyou also to the vendors who had great food, the performers and dancers, the re-enactment people, all of you who dressed up for the occasion and the fantastic volunteers who generously gave their time to help. We hope to see you all again next year.
It is all happening again for 2025. Get dressed up in your best medieval costume and join us in Bruthen as we step back to Medieval times to usher in Winter Solstice.
Medieval re-enactments including combat and flaming sword battles. Medieval skills and craft demonstrations. Indoor and outdoor Medieval games for kids and adults. Knights in Armour. Best dressed competition. Spectacular fire Show with Ryan Pedley. Lots of great food and drink stalls. Bonfire, fire pots and a fabulous fire sculpture. Blacksmith demonstrations. Lantern walk. Morris dancers are back again with pop up dancing. Medieval dancing. Live bands WRioT and Dog Country finishing the night off with medieval inspired music.
Bruthen and District Neighbourhood House Medieval Market will be in the main street gardens 9am to 3pm.
DOGS. We all love dogs but please leave them at home on this occasion. They would be a trip hazard in the dark and could find the crowd and noise frightening.
