Mixed Bag Art Exhibition 2026

The popular Mixed Bag Art Exhibition has become one of the highlights of the art scene in East Gippsland. Attracting artists and art lovers from across the region and beyond, the organisers pride themselves on providing an opportunity for anyone to display their works and offer them for sale no matter how experienced or what age. As the name suggests the end result is a real ‘mixed bag’ of styles and mediums.

DEMONSTRATIONS

Building on the successes of previous years anyone visiting the exhibition will also be treated to several art/craft demonstrations including woodcraft and papier mache sculpting. Demonstrators may have some merchandise to tempt you.  You will even be able to get creative and your hands dirty.

ART SUPPLIES INXS

Once again there will be an opportunity to move some of your excess art and craft materials onto a new home with the ‘Art Supplies INXS’ market on Saturday 19th from 10am.  Oh, and there is also the danger that you may go home with some bargains!

NEW this year. In keeping with the general arts theme Sunday will see the Supper Room come to life with a Song Writing Workshop lead by some the region’s popular musicians.  The format and cost are still being decided on. More information later when final decisions have been made.

OPENING NIGHT.

The Gala opening Friday 18th September 2026 with nibbles and complimentary champagne. Entry $15, Exhibiting Artists free.
